Exciting opportunity for a GP Partner or Salaried Partner
We are looking for a 4-6 session GP to join our enthusiastic and friendly team. We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified GP’s.
Roathwell Surgery is a long established practice based in the Roath area of Cardiff. Our multidisciplinary team provides healthcare services to a mixed demography of approximately 6,300 patients with a wide range of healthcare needs. We aim to deliver quality patient care in a pleasant and friendly work environment. We continually look to develop the practice, aware of current challenges in General Practice, and support what is needed to manage change for the future GMS contract and Enhanced Services. We also have exciting plans to move to new and bigger premises.
About us
- We have 5 experienced doctors who are well supported by a good clinical and administrative team which includes Pharmacists, Mental Health Nurses, Physiotherapist, Practice Nurses, Health Care assistant, Administrative staff, Receptionists and the Practice Manager.
- We are a long standing GP Speciality Training Practice
- We are an experienced practice committed to the teaching and training of medical students from Cardiff University, and also pharmacists and practice nurses.
- We use EMISweb clinical IT system and Accurx
- High QAIF achieving
- We are part of the South Easter Cluster [Collaborative] comprising of 8 practices
We hold regular informal clinical team meetings in addition to an open door policy for mentoring and advice. We also have monthly MDT meetings attended by our community teams including Midwives, Health Visitors, District Nurses and Palliative Care Nurses.
