GPPB Chair (One Session per week) Up to 12 months Fixed Term
Salary – Commensurate with previous experience, plus equivalent to NHS Pension.
Derbyshire GP Provider Board (GPPB) is an exciting new organisation created to ensure general practice plays a key role in our integrated care system known as Joined Up Derbyshire (JUCD).
Established by GPs and building on the work led by the Derbyshire GP Alliance. Derbyshire GPPB has been created to support a single, unified, appropriate representative and learned Derbyshire GP voice into the Integrated Care System. Working closely with and system partners we have recently secured recurrent funding to further develop the work of GPPB in Derbyshire
A key part of achieving our ambitions will be the appointment of an exceptional Chair who can bring good governance and ensure effective Board function and enable executive team delivery. This is a crucial position helping us to achieve our short-term plans, as well as our future objectives – our Chair will play a key role as part of our successful, highly motivated board.
To succeed in this role, you’ll be a suitably experienced and dynamic individual who will bring leadership to our Board and help build, develop and motivate an effective team. What is most important is your ability to provide credibility, vision, and influence those around you. The role is open to all individuals with the demonstrable skills required, independent of specific professional qualifications.
