Salaried GP – Cwm Calon Medical Practice

We are a flexible, supportive practice in the Ebbw Valley within easy commutable distance of Newport, Cardiff and Abergavenny.
We very much value the importance of the GP and relationship-based care. We are a DeepEnd Wales practice.
We are looking for a salaried doctor for 4-8 sessions per week.
We are offering a salary of up to £11,500 per session depending on experience. And we are open to considering partnership.
Our practice:
- 5300 patients
- 2 GP Partners and 1 salaried doctor
- Health Board owned premises
- Wide range of clinical services including minor surgery, care homes DES, anticoagulation.
- Clinical pharmacists undertaking polypharmacy reviews, prescribing support.
- GP training practice
- Medical student teaching
- Generous annual / study leave
- Excellent support from experienced Nursing and Admin teams
We are a member of the Blaenau Gwent East Cluster and work with local practices to support:
- MDT working with partner organisations.
- Community connectors and social prescribing service
- Cluster nursing service
Our doctors are supported to maintain a range of external interests including NCN (Cluster) Lead and safeguarding.
