HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT 32 hours per week
are seeking a Health Care Assistant to fulfil an important role within our team. This is an interesting and varied role worked over 4 days. Pay for this role is negotiable up to a maximum of £11.05 per hour. The NHS Pension Scheme is offered with this position.
If you have previously had a role in a healthcare setting such as hospital or GP surgery or a care home you will have the skills we require for this role, and inhouse training will also be available to build on those skills.
This is a unique role within the practice as half of the week you will work alongside our Doctor running a dermatology clinic. This means that you will be assisting with skin related procedures. It is quite rare to find such a role.
For the remaining part of the role, you will undertake a range of treatment room duties which include: venepuncture, ECG tests, urine testing, blood pressure monitoring, simple dressings, suture removal etc. You will also be involved in the daily monitoring of systems and processes to support infection control, patient safety and regulatory requirements along side other members of the nursing team.
We can provide some specific training, but we are looking for someone with some relevant experience.
