Health Care Assistant (HCA)
We are looking to recruit 2 enthusiastic experienced HCAs to join our friendly team of Nurses and HCA’s.
Christchurch Medical Practice has approximately 18,000 patients, we are situated in Christchurch, Dorset, and work over 3 sites. We are a friendly and supportive practice and have a strong commitment to our patients and the professional development of our team.
Our nursing team provides an extensive range of high-quality services and makes extensive use of IT systems and the latest in healthcare initiatives to provide a service that is second to none.
Interested applicants should be in possession of relevant formal qualifications and have demonstrable experience and competence in the role of a HCA, ideally with experience in General Practice and with essential skills in:
- Health Checks
- Ear examination
- Wound care
- ECG’s
- Assist with Minor Surgery
- Injections and vaccinations
- Treatment Room duties
- Assist with long term condition reviews following appropriate training
- Stock control and ordering
The ideal candidate will be in possession of NVQ level 3, although this is not essential. They should also be able to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Job Types: Part-time – 23 hours and 27 hours or 1 full time
Salary: Starting at £10.81
