Somerset GP Training Programme Education Fellowship - 12 month Fixed Term Contract
1 session per week 12 month FTC
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative GP educator to work closely with the GP Training programme teams across the South West, this opportunity will be working predominantly with the Somerset GP training Programme Team.
We have a 12 month Fixed Term Contract for 1 session (4hrs per week) for a GP Training Programme Fellowship to support GP training in the Somerset programme.
This session will need to be worked on a Wednesday as this is the half day release day for the GP training programme.
The role will be based mainly within the Somerset training programme, working with the training programme directors to deliver the GP curriculum preparing Drs in Training (DiTs) to achieve MRCGP.
The role will involve some working at the Yeovil and Taunton sites most weeks.
The role of the fellowship is to work with the Training programme Directors and Associate Dean focussing on the improvement of learner supervision, assessment, educational experience and outcomes for GP trainees and Educational Supervisors.
The successful applicant will work with the local education team and administrators to facilitate the provision of the half day release course for GP DiTs.
