Practice Nurse Vacancy
We are looking for a practice nurse to join our team due to the retirement of our previous nurse.
Permanent post - 35 hours per week.
We are in commutable distances from both Cardiff and Swansea, just off Junction 37 of the M4.
Single site practice, with 9000 patients.
Six supportive and approachable GP partners
Supported by an excellent Health Care Assistant/phlebotomist.
Excellent team of friendly administrative staff.
Essential clinical requirements:
- Practice nurse experience
- Chronic disease management diabetes, heart disease, COPD/asthma care,
- Wound and dressing care
- vaccination services including travel vaccination clinic and childhood immunisations.
- Cervical cytology
- Family planning/HRT
Training can be provided if not all of the above criteria are currently met
We are a Vision practice.
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
Five weeks annual leave per year pro rata.
