RTC, Derby, and any future location of the business. Some business travel will be expected as part of the role. Flexible working and remote working are available. |
The formation of GPPB is the culmination of work by the Derbyshire GP Alliance, to create a single, unified, appropriately representative and learned Derbyshire GP voice into the Integrated Care System (ICS) at all required strategic and operational forum and workstream levels.
Established by GPs, GPPB brings together Primary Care Networks (via their Clinical Directors) and General Practices and GPs (via the Local Medical Committee) and is mandated to represent general practice in the local ICS (which is known as Joined-Up Care Derbyshire - JUCD).

Job Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced and dynamic individual to join our developing executive team to strengthen and lead on the delivery of GPPB’s objectives, culture, values and ways of working with a view to putting general practice on the strongest possible footing, now and in the future, for the benefits of patients, communities and staff.
Under the line management of the Medical Director, and with the direction of the Board, you will have opportunity to lead one or more of our priorities which include PCN and Area Board support & development, clinical leadership and oversight of our clinical leads, and General Practice sustainability. |
