We are looking for a salaried GP (with a view to partnership) to join our friendly and supportive team. We would also consider a retainer role.
We are looking for 6 sessions over 3 days but this can be flexible. We feel that work life balance is paramount so one of these sessions is a paid admin session.
There will be no out of hours commitment and extended hours are ran by the PCN.

We are a small friendly practice of 5100 patients, with the added benefit of being a dispensing practice.
GP administration burden has been reduced through a workflow management team ran by the PCN who process all paperwork for scanning and coding. In addition, we have access to a mental health triage nurse and additional remote GP telephone appointments provided through the PCN. We also have a clinical pharmacist for 2 days a week. We are currently at the stage of advertising for a first contact physio and GP assistant (via the PCN).
We have strong relationships with the PCN including a community rehabilitation team, district nurses, an integrated frailty team, pharmacy technicians and have access to the local community hospital but are not required to staff it.
Monthly virtual ward meetings and close contact with hospice nurses for palliative care patients, means we have multidisciplinary input as needed. We have a daily catch up over coffee and as a small practice it is easy to discuss patients with colleagues.
The duty day is run by our two fantastic ANPs, freeing the routine slots up for GPs. So duty GP really involves being available for support and actioning anything urgent, but otherwise running the routine surgery.
Currently 1 GP partners (6 sessions), 1 salaried GP (6 sessions)
2 Advanced nurse practitioners (6 sessions each)
