An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse to join our rural practice. We look after 11,000 patients and have 5 GP Partners and 1 non-clinical partner, 3 salaried GPs, 1 clinical matron, 3 Practice Nurses, and 2 Healthcare assistants.
The Practice is part of the A31 Primary Care Network where we have excellent work relationships and have a growing team of Additional Roles that support the Practices. These include physiotherapy triage team, MIND wellbeing workers (Adult and Child), Pharmacy team, Cancer Care Co-ordinator, Social Prescribing team and Pro-active care service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, dynamic Practice Nurse to join our friendly team for up to 37.5 hours per week (Part time hours and job share will be considered).
The ideal candidate will have experience within Primary Care, be adaptable, highly motivated and enjoys working as part of a team. However, we are willing to train and develop the right candidate. The post holder will assist in achieving QOF targets and ensure that administrative tasks associated with clinical duties are complete. We would prefer someone who has experience in chronic disease management (Asthma, COPD and Diabetes). There is also opportunity to train to support Clinical Research.
We have some flexibility with the hours on offer. The salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
