The Cedars Surgery is looking for an additional Physician Associate to work alongside its existing PA’s and the wider Clinical Team. We are inviting applications from graduating and already graduated students.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated PA to join our well-established, friendly and high-achieving GMS practice in Swanley. We have a friendly and supportive mix of Partners, Salaried Doctors, Physician Associates Practice Nurses, Phlebotomists and HCA’s looking after 13,500 patients.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable to change and have a good level of competence in the use of IT systems. Candidates should exhibit good organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals and other stakeholders including patients, families and carers.
Swanley has easy access to the M25, M20 and A20 via Junction 3 of the M25. The A2 is also close by.
We are looking for someone with the following abilities:
To provide care for patients through clinical assessment, examination, investigation, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
To deliver a high standard of patient care using in depth theoretical knowledge and evidence based practice, working under the supervision of a GP.
To manage a clinical caseload and deal with presenting patients’ needs in a primary care setting. Physician Associates will have a key role in supporting delivery of Network Contract DES services.
Applicants should be enthusiastic, knowledgeable and willing to become involved in clinical development in the practice. The practice offers training opportunities and continuous clinical support. We encourage the development of special interests, offering CPD support and participation in regular weekly clinical meetings and MDT Meetings
This role is well suited to individuals who are motivated to reach their potential within a forward thinking team, as on-going training and development is actively encouraged.
We are a high achieving, training practice with a “GOOD” CQC rating.

Rewards
£44K - £50K salary
