GP Maternity leave Locum – Swanage Medical Practice

We are looking for a maternity locum to join our team to cover a five-session salaried GP position. We are based in Swanage, on the world heritage Jurassic coast. Our practice has 10761patients who are looked after by a team of:
- Six GP Partners
- Two Salaried GPs
- A GP retainer
- Two GP trainees
- Two ACPs
- A Paramedic
- A Physician Associate
- Practice Nurses & treatment room team
- Excellent Reception, admin and inhouse IT team.
We work with our colleagues in the Purbeck Primary Care Network, and therefore have additional roles working with our Practice team, such as Pharmacists, First Contact Physio’s, Respiratory services and mental health services.
The locum would be available for 4-5 sessions a week, working ideally on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Sessions available from 1st April 2024 -30th September 2024.
The post holder would offer a clinic of f2f and telephone consultations and GP Paperwork. Occasional home visits will also be required, although visits are usually referred to our visiting service.
