Health Care Assistant
Horndean Surgery is looking to recruit an enthusiastic health care assistant to complement their nursing team.
We are a friendly semi-rural practice based near Waterlooville, Hampshire and work out of new purpose built premises. We look after a patient population of just over 6600.
Due to local development we expect to see our patient list grow by 50% over the next couple of years and so we are looking for a committed and enthusiastic HCA to join our surgery team at this exciting time. The post is for 20hrs per week
An NVQ3 qualification and phlebotomy experience is essential and the role will include the following duties:
Removal of sutures/stitches
Dressings
Injections
ECGs
BPs
Diabetic foot checks
NHS Health Checks
Phlebotomy
Salary is dependant of experience. In additional you'll get NHS pension contributions, sick pay policy, 6 weeks of annual leave.
