Brewer Street Surgery is keen to employ a qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our happy and supportive GP Practice in Maidstone.
Brewer Street Surgery was established over 70 years ago and has been proudly serving patients in the heart of Maidstone and surrounding area since then. We are an exceptionally stable surgery, well-respected and currently with around 9,000 patients. Many of our elderly patients have been with us since birth, and we have a handful of families in which we are proud to look after all four generations. We consistently achieve above the local and national average in the National Patient Survey.
We have a high reputation locally and engage with all local organisations and ICB-run schemes. We are an active member of our PCN and have excellent relationships with neighbouring surgeries. We achieve high QOF scores. We use the EMIS Web computer system. We have a full complement of staff including practice nurses, paramedic, clinical pharmacist, pharmacy technician, care co-ordinators, mental health practitioner, etc. We have an excellent administrative team who keep the surgery ticking over.
We are keen to recruit an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, ideally 4-6 sessions per week but this could be flexible, from mid-February 2024 onwards. We are looking for a motivated individual with the ability to work both autonomously and in partnership with the wider practice team. Experience in general practice is essential. You should hold or be working towards a MSc Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practice qualification and hold the Independent non-medical prescribing qualification.
