We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed team player to join our friendly practice team. We are seeking a Salaried GP to work 6 to 8 sessions per week. Our multi-disciplinary team consists of two partners, two salaried doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Physician Associate, Clinical pharmacist, 2x practice nurses and 2 x healthcare assistants plus GP Assistant, Pharmacy technician and a first contact physiotherapist.

Clinical Duties

As a GP at our surgery, your main reasonability will be the delivery of exceptional care to our patients. This includes duties such as;

  • The delivery of appropriate medical care to patients
  • Prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy, and guidance
  • Effective management of long-term conditions
  • Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the workload
  • Adhering to best practices recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
  • Contribution to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives
  • Attending and contributing effectively to service/practice meetings as required
  • Ensuring personal compliance with the appraisal process
  • Preparing for and completing the revalidation process
  • Commitment to self-learning and contributing to an ethos of continuing professional development across the service/practice team

The role will be part time, consisting of 6 to 8 sessions across 3/4 days. The job will include booked sessions, consisting of 12-minute appointments with allotted additional time for admin. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.

We teach and train Foundation level doctors and GP registrars

Our practice details are as follows:

  • List size 9000+ patients
  • Consistently high QOF achieving practice.
  • Engagement with NHSE, CCG, Primary Care Networks and local GP Federation.
  • EMIS Web, Docman and digital dictation system
  • Low numbers of home visits
  • CQC current rating- Good
