We are looking for an enthusiastic GP to join our team at Taffs Well Medical Centre for 4-6 sessions starting as soon as possible. We are a committed friendly team with a strong team ethos supporting each other throughout the day and committed to maintaining a good work life balance for all our staff. This job would be supportive for a newly qualified GP. We have a mix of skills and would encourage the pursuit of any special interests a GP would like to pursue.
Our list size is @7100 patients with a Branch site on the outskirts of Caerphilly
Salary £11,000 per session.
Main duties of the job
The GP will carry out a variety of duties including face to face and telephone consultations, triage, home visits, checking and signing scripts, dealing with requests and paperwork needed. We have a daily on call system with triage telephone and face to face consultations if required, pre-bookable routine appointments up to 6 weeks in advance and a low house call visit rate.
We are a 3 Partner Practice with an experienced team including 2 independant prescribing Practice Nurses, HCSW, Phlebotomist, Administrative Team as well as a highly organised Practice Manager. Working autonomously with patients but also with the support of the wider practice team working together to develop continuity of care. Our current clinical systems provider is Vision.
