Part-time 20-25 hours (negotiable)
Markfield Medical Centre is seeking to appoint a Part-time Health Care Assistant for approx. 20-25 hours per week. (Hours and days to be agreed with the successful candidate).
We are looking for someone who has excellent clinical and communication skills, coupled with a patient focussed approach to care. You must be forward thinking and able to work independently as well as being a team player.
Markfield Medical centre is a rural practice caring for 7100 patients. We pride ourselves on a friendly patient centred service and our patient survey results reflect this. We are an organised practice with high QOF achievements and have a good reputation in the locality. We have a purpose-built building with adjoining pharmacy.
We have an excellent team of 4 GP partners, 2 salaried GP’s, a team of 10 receptionists, secretaries, and administrators, 2 HCAs, 2 Practice Nurses, a Lead prescribing nurse, Pharmacist, and a Clinical Practitioner. We aim to deliver as many services to our patients within primary care as we can.
The role is rewarding and varied. It will suit someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and a good team player. We are looking for someone who has experience and confidence in managing patients face to face as well as good organisational and communication skills. This HCA role is developing in the Practice and therefore a willingness to learn and a flexible approach is essential.
Our ideal candidate will hold an NVQ level 3/QCF level 3 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support or equivalent and have experience working in Primary Care, Secondary Care or in the community.
