Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse ( OR Nurse Associate) for our multi-site practice at Highparks medical practice.
The practice are looking for a candidate, full of enthusiasm and ready for a challenge, to join their team consisting of Doctors and Practice Nurses and healthcare professionals with a patient list of over 15000 patients .
Previous Practice Nurse experience in Primary Care is essential.
This practice operates across 4 sites all within a few miles of each other and has 5 partners.
The vacancy is flexible with an option for either full time or part-time .
Salary is dependent on role and experience.
About us
We are a large team of over 60 members of staff ( clinical and non clinical).
Driving is essential as we operate across multiple sites.
Job responsibilities
Main duties;
The Practice Nurse will perform tasks delegated by the lead nurse, working unsupervised to Patient Group Directions, agreed protocols, within an evidence base and within defined competencies.
Vaccinations including baby immunisations.
Cervical Screening
Chronic Disease Management
Confident with QOF
An interest in respiratory chronic conditions or diabetes is desirable.
Must be a registered nurse or nursing associate with the NMC.

Essential
Qualified nurse or nursing associate experience
Experience in general practice/ primary care is essential.
