Pontprennau Medical Centre is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our vibrant, patient focused and innovative practice. The surgery is located in Pontprennau, Cardiff and easily accessible with public transport and allocated parking.
The Practice

- 4 GP Partners, 3 salaried GP’s, 4 PNs, 1 HCAs, 1 Pharmacist
- High QAIF Achievements
- Paper light practice using EMIS Web
- Enhanced Services: Including minor surgery, contraceptive services, and joint injections.
- Access to MSK Physio, Mental Health Liaison Service & Urgent Primary Care Centre (UPCC)
- Actively participate in local cluster work
- Post graduate GP training practice.

Requirements:
- 12 months+ experience working in General Practice
- EMIS knowledge
- Basic Life Support training required
- Phlebotomy
- Health Care Checks (measuring and recording height, weight, BP & lifestyle etc)
- ECG
- Dressings
- Immunisations
- Diabetic foot checks
Hours/Salary
Permanent position
Part Time: 24hrs
Salary: Negotiable Dependent on Experience
NHS pension scheme
Annual leave 27days + Bank holidays
Sick Pay – Depending on length of Service
