About Us:
We are a busy and well-established GP Practice based in Leicester City, serving a diverse community with a list size of 11,200 patients. As part of Leicester City and University PCN, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care and fostering innovation in primary care services.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Manager to lead our dedicated team. This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership, operational oversight and a deep understanding of General Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide effective leadership to the practice team
· Oversee practice performance including finance, HR, compliance and patient services
· Manage and improve systems for patient care, ensuring services meet clinical governance standards
· Work collaboratively with Leicester City and University PCN to develop and implement innovative healthcare initiatives
· Ensure compliance with all CQC, NHSE, employment law and health & safety regulations
· Lead on practice development, including strategic planning
About You:
· Proven leadership and management experience, ideally within general practice or a healthcare setting
· Strong understanding of GMS Contract and CQC standards
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a multidisciplinary team
· Financial acumen, including experience with budget management and payroll
· Proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
