We are looking for a locum GP to cover maternity leave and join our strong supportive team, delivering evidence based, high quality care in a suburban setting. We are a training practice and have an excellent local reputation. Our GPs are actively supported by our friendly reception, administrative and nursing team. We take pride in the range and quality of service we offer our patients.
Applications are welcomed from all GPs; experienced or recently qualified.
The Practice
- High performing, GMS, EMIS Web, Docman Training Practice. Well respected in the area
- 18500 patients (mixed demographic)
- Main practice site and two branches
- Dedicated Enhanced Care Home and Frailty Team run by the PCN
- 7 GP partners, 4 Salaried GP, mental health practitioner.
- Multidisciplinary team including 5 experienced Nurses, 1 HCA, 1 phlebotomist, 3 Pharmacists, 1 pharmacy technician, 2 FCP and Social Prescriber
- Well organised Practice Management team
Working Life
- 14 Patient contacts per session-mainly F2F with some telephones
- Triage Duty system
- 5 sessions – Wednesday all day, Thursday morning, all day Friday
- Named GP for list.
