Join Us in Delivering Compassionate, High-Quality Care Are you an experienced and dedicated General Practitioner seeking a meaningful role in urgent care? At Winchester Urgent Care Clinic, we are looking for a skilled GP to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to work independently in an Out of Hours setting while delivering expert face-to-face consultations and making a real difference in the lives of our patients. Your Role: As a General Practitioner, you will: Deliver the highest clinical standards to all patients accessing the service. Assess, investigate, diagnose, and treat patients with needs suitable for primary care. Identify and manage acute presentations, referring to the Emergency Department when appropriate. Provide emergency stabilisation for patients awaiting transfer. Support and advise colleagues within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. Manage patient flow effectively, balancing clinical need with service capacity. What We’re Looking For: Essential: Fully accredited GP with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. GMC registered and listed on the NHS Performers List with no conditions or restrictions. Experience in primary and urgent care settings. Commitment to ongoing CPD, appraisal, and professional development. Excellent communication, clinical assessment, and organisational skills. Sound knowledge of clinical governance and accountability. Able to pass an enhanced DBS check and have the right to work in the UK. Desirable: MRCGP qualification. Experience with multidisciplinary team support and supervision. Proficiency in clinical systems such as Adastra and EPS. Understanding of the wider healthcare and primary care landscape. Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing abilities. Location: Winchester Urgent Care Clinic – Royal Hampshire County Hospital Available Hours: Friday 18:30 – 23:00hrs / Sat & Sun 08:00 – 13:00 or 13:00 – 18:00 Why Join Us?
