The Croft Surgery, Kirkbride, Cumbria Are you a GP who values continuity of care, community connections, and a supportive education-focused team? We offer the opportunity to work in the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, whilst being within a 30-minute drive of the both the Lakes District National Park, and Carlisle. Our ethos is to provide continuity and high quality holistic care for our community whilst maintaining a good work life balance and work satisfaction for our team members. We are looking for a GP to join our village practice team on 3-6 sessions, either as a GP Partner or as a Salaried GP. For salaried GP’s we can offer a competitive salary reflective of experience and commitment. There is the opportunity to develop special interests and skills. Our current clinical team includes 2 GP partners and 2 Salaried GP’s. We also have 3 highly skilled members of our nursing team (2 part time practice nurses and 1 health care assistant). • GMS practice • Dispensing practice • Approx. 3,600 patients, with no care homes within our practice boundary • No OOH commitment but available locally if wished • EMIS web computer system • Are part of the Keswick and Solway PCN, maintaining positive relationships with our fellow PCN practices • Through the PCN we have appointed ARRS roles, including a pharmacist and first contact physio. • Strong relationship with our Patient Participation Group • High patient satisfaction scores in Health and Care Experience Surveys. • Established GP training practice • Keen interest in medical education, hosting medical students from Newcastle University • We largely provide 15 minute face-to-face appointments, with break and administrative time included within sessions • An innovative and supportive team with regular team social activities For information about our practice, please visit: www.kirkbridesurgery.nhs.uk If you have any enquires, would like to discuss a potential application informally or arrange a visit of our practice please contact joanne.paisley1@nhs.net Applications: email CV and covering letter to: joanne.paisley1@nhs.net Closing date: 01/09/2025
