Are you looking for your first role in General Practice or a change from your current environment?
Come and join our happy, well organised, award winning team*. A fun place to work where all staff are valued. We are a 30/40 minute pleasant drive from Norwich with a Blue Flag beach a 5 minute walk from our air conditioned practice building.
What are we offering?
A salaried position for 3 or 4 days per week. Flexible start date (prior to June 2019).
Could this lead on to a Partnership?
Yes this may be a possibility. All of our GP Partners started as a salaried GP.
Why should you join our team in Mundesley
We are a high achieving practice (low admissions, 100% OQF), who are not afraid to try something new. The practice is currently redesigning the way we deliver care to our patients. Our population is older and although complex, rewarding and appreciative. We are restructuring to offer routine GP consultations 20 -30 minutes with all first appointments dealt with by our experience nurse practitioners who will make a referral to the GP if required.
We are also introducing a mental health nurse into the primary care team.
We have a culture of team work with all departments supporting each other. Lots of the administration functions are carried out by our reception, admin or dispensary team so GPs can delegate and concentrate on what you were trained to do.
We prioritise the work/life balance for all our staff, especially our GPs. All current GPs work a 3 days per week. We expect everyone to take a lunch break.
