The Guildhall & Barrow Surgery, Bury St Edmunds.
We are looking to recruit a permanent, up to full time hours, Nurse Practitioner or Emergency Care Practitioner to join our friendly 2 site practice team.
We have just over 12000 patients, are high QOF achievers and use SystmOne clinical computer system.
Applicants need to have the relevant professional qualifications and be an independent prescriber or be willing to undertake necessary training.
Experience of working in Primary Care is desirable. You will work alongside a team of other Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacist and HCA’s supported by a team of 11 part-time GPs and non-clinical practice staff.
You need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good organisational skills and experience working as an autonomous practitioner to assess, diagnose, treat and provide advice and care to patients. The successful applicant will be required to carry out home visits, telephone triage, support the duty Doctor, have clinics of their own and participate in our extended hours provision.
The post includes NHS Pension, indemnity cover and financial support for agreed courses.
Salary dependant on experience.
