e We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic GP between 4 and 5 sessions per week on a salaried, fixed term contract or as a Locum. We provide GMS services to a mixed practice population of around 6,600 patients in North Walsham and the villages in the surrounding area with real scope to develop within the Practice. The Town has many amenities and is set for further development. It is surrounded by countryside, is just 5 miles from the coast and offers a perfect work-life balance! We are contracted for most enhanced services and are committed to high standards of patient care, achieving maximum QOF scores. The Practice is proud of our support to students from the UEA medical school, and trainees from the Norfolk GP training scheme. We require someone who is a team player, professional, courteous and efficient. Excellent people handling skills, enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure are all essential. We have involvement with six local care homes and a ‘ward-rounds’ and home visits are expected as well as taking turn as Duty GP. Days/hours, salary and benefits are all subject to negotiation.
