We are an innovative practice looking for the right person to join our team. - We are a forward thinking practice and were one of the 15 Rapid Test sites for Primary Care Home (now developing into NHS Primary Care Networks) and continue to explore efficiencies to enable management of the increasing General Practice workload. We are looking for a further GP to join our team working in either our Plympton or Ivybridge sites (to help continuity).
Currently we have 43,000 patients cared for across 6 sites and have developed an Urgent Care Team of Duty GPs, Pharmacists, Nurse Practitioners and Paramedics in our Hubs in Plympton and Ivybridge. This helps to address the- “On-The-Day” demand in a safe, team focussed approach. This supportive team approach allows for sharing of the risk and makes the daily workload when duty comfortable, it also enables GPs (when not duty) to have focused elective clinics enabling continuity of care for patients with complex health needs.
We are a practice that is committed to training and our current team of 33 GPs (with 8 GP trainers) provides supervision for ST1-3 F2s, Medical Students, Pre-Reg Pharmacists, Paramedic Students and Nursing Students. We encourage practitioners who are keen to be involved in training and actively welcome portfolio and GPwSI careers.
