Lister House Surgery, Wiveliscombe is looking for a motivated and committed Health Care Assistant to join our clinical team.
These are exciting times for the development of primary care in Somerset with the creation of a brand new Primary Care Directorate set up within Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (the Alliance),with the innovative aim of providing an integrated, multi-disciplinary clinical approach to patient care. Each Trust currently manages one GP practice, Warwick House in Taunton and Lister House in Wiveliscombe and we want to develop closer working. The home base for the applicant will be Lister House Surgery but there will need to be flexibility required with work undertaken at another directorate practices in the area.
Lister House is a flagship surgery (with recent CQC 'Good' rating) at the heart of innovatory progress with a friendly, family-like and cohesive clinical team comprising various multi-disciplinary professionals to ensure a supportive environment of best-practice and collaborative team working.

This role will enable you to utilise the full range of your clinical and interpersonal experience, whilst providing opportunities for learning and developing new skills within a Primary Care setting. Salary – Band 3 equivalent, hours per week 24 (of which 4 hours will need to be worked at another directorate practice in the Taunton area); permanent contract.
