Due to the continuing success of our Urgent Care Centre at Tiverton Hospital we are now looking to expand our pool of sessional GP's to provide additional cover throughout the week.
We now have an increased number of shifts available and can offer:
- flexible shifts
- long and short shift options
- early and late shifts
- shifts during the week and at weekends.
We are looking for GP’s with an interest in urgent care to join our team of sessional doctors. Tiverton Urgent Care Centre is unique in providing a multidisciplinary team delivering care to patients of Tiverton and surrounding areas. The unit is open form 0800-2200 seven days a week and sees a variety of both medical and trauma cases of varying acuity. An interest in urgent medical care and the management of injuries would be preferable.
The unit is working hard to manage patients locally and prevent admissions to hospital, we have access to point of care testing and x-ray facilities seven days a week, and host our own fracture clinic weekly.
We offer comparable rates of pay and indemnity is included through a bank contract with the South Western Ambulance Service.
Flexible shifts are available seven days a week; options include
09:30-1445
15:00-2000
16:00-22:00
09:00-22:00.
