An opportunity has arisen in our clinical team for an energetic, dynamic, committed and forward thinking GP with the potential to become a future Partner.
Stoke Surgery is a busy practice providing care for 8000 patients in a socially mixed area of the City of Plymouth. The Practice works under a PMS contract and has close links with the Peninsula Medical School in the training of medical students.
We are looking to recruit a salaried GP to join our small and friendly team. currently have three Partners; one salaried GP; a nurse prescriber; three nurses; a pharmacy technician, and an experienced admin team for support. The successful candidate will be fully involved in all areas of the Practice.
Under the new Primary Care Network scheme we are one of six practices based in this part of the city working towards the same goals for our patients. We already have access to a Social Prescriber under the Wolseley Trust initiative. There is potential and enthusiasm for further development of services both within the surgery and across the network.
The surgery is a high QoF achieving practice committed to high quality patient care. Our recent CQC inspection in January 2019 was rated ‘Good’ in all areas.
A competitive remuneration package on offer is inclusive of Defence Union subscription, locum insurance cover, six weeks holiday and one week’s study leave. Salary is dependent on experience and within the BMA published range for salaried GP's.
