Salaried GP – East Norwich Medical Partnership

We are looking for a Salaried GP who would like to join our friendly, busy clinical team here at East Norwich Medical Partnership. We have 7 Partners. We would like someone to join us for 6-7 sessions but this is flexible up or down. We provide care for our 16,300 patients from our two surgery sites at Thorpe St Andrew and Sprowston. We are based in the leafy North East of Norwich and have good links into Norwich city centre and the new NDR (there are exits close to both surgery sites), the A47 and A11. This makes us easily accessible without having to go into the city. We are close the the Norfolk Broads and are not far from Norwich Airport which services domestic and international travel. We are in an expanding area of Norwich and our practice population is predicted to rise and we are currently planning for this.
We benefit from pharmacies on both sites but these are not part of the practice. Our team is being joined by an experienced Clinical Pharmacist in August 2019 amd we can see that this will be of huge value to our clinical team. Our Pharmacist is also a Prescriber.
We are a training practice and currently have ST1 Registrars and Year 2 Medical Students. Our Associate Trainer is currently undertaking conversion to become a full-trainer and our plan is to have ST3's.
We have 2 Nurse Practitioners and a full complement of 4 Practice Nurses, 2 Treatment Room Nurses, 4 Healthcare Assistants and a Phlebotomist.
We benefit from the support of an experienced Practice Manager and Management Team and skilled reception/administration & secretarial teams.
We use SystmOne and the Ardens suite of templates. We are part of the Norwich Primary Care Network and sit in the East Norwich Neighbourhood. We are members of OneNorwich and Norwich Practices Ltd and actively participate in their Leadership Board Meetings.
