Pay range: £8304 to £9107 per annual session, depending on experience

York Medical Group is a large, inner city practice, serving a population of 44,500 over 8 sites and has 160+ employees throughout the group. We have 15 GP Partners and 10 Salaried GP’s plus a diverse range of clinical workforce following our clinical transformation over the last year to include a full nursing support team including Pharmacists, ANP’s, Paramedics, Physiotherapists and Urgent Care Practitioners. We are a training practice with the York Vocational Training Scheme and Hull York Medical School for students in years 1, 2, 4 & 5. Our clinical systems are SystmOne, INR*, Ardens and EPS. We currently outsource our medical reports and our prescriptions, however we will be looking to bring this back in house later this year once our Pharmacist team has grown sufficiently to manage the workload.
We are looking for motivated, energetic, innovative and approachable GP’s to join our team between 2 to 8 sessions per week. For the right candidate an opportunity to be involved in the teaching of our rotational students would be available. Our new ‘honest day’ template launched in June has proven very popular with our GP’s and provides a realistic and manageable daily schedule to cover a GP’s workload whilst offering flexibility to GP’s working styles.

1 x 14minute Reception Query time
1 x 30minute Script/Tasks/Admin slot (choice of start or end of day)
1 x 40minute Visits slot (converted to CPD if none allocated)
