In all we do our focus is on being user friendly. We are passionate about IT solutions and providing solutions that complement the process, rather than detract from it because they are too complicated to use. The first page gives you an overview where you can see your portfolio evidence at a glance, and the 'What's left to do' feature clearly lists what you need to complete before submitting your appraisal.

The free Learning Diary is probably our most popular feature. It was one of the first tools we developed and the focus is on simple recording of learning. So simple that it can just become part of your day to day routine. Simply email learning@fourteenfish.com and the learning is recorded! There is also a free iPhone and iPad app.

Passion

We are passionate about appraisals. I still remember my first appraisal as a young GP. My appraiser was an enthusiastic GP about to retire and it was really valuable to me to be able to have time set aside to reflect and plan for my year ahead. Sure there are tick box elements, and perhaps these are increasing, but we try and help you to get these parts done simply so you can concentrate on the value of appraisal and reflection.

We are constantly trying to update and improve the system so we always want to hear if something isn't clear or if we can make any aspect better.

Support

It is key to us that we provide responsive and informed support. We know that time is limited and often you will have a short amount of time set aside to prepare your appraisal information. You can get in touch but clicking the Contact Us link on every page and we always try and reply as quickly as possible, normally within an hour or two. The reply will have a phone number. We also try and keep our help pages up to date and this is complemented with a live chat function.

We have two medical directors, who are both experts in Appraisal and Revalidation and so we have quick access to informed advice.

Value for money

At just £49.99 annually we feel we provide excellent value for money. We recognise the MAG form is free but we feel we offer several advantages to using a MAG. Our website provides a secure space to store all your appraisal material, past, present and future; the overview features, guidance and ability to demonstrate your spread of supporting information across your scope of work are just a few advantages.
