Trainee Nurse Associate – Old Catton Medical Practice

The person undertaking this role will be employed by Old Catton Medical Practice whilst undertaking 24month apprenticeship.
You will work as part of the existing Nursing team under the supervision of one of our registered Nurses, working towards a foundation degree and NMC Registration.
The ideal candidate would have a strong determination to achieve and an interest in delivering good quality direct patient care.
As part of the role the following tasks will be undertaken, but are not limited to;
Routine BP checks
ECG's
Suture and clip removal
BMI and lifestyle advice
Wellbeing advice to support patients in improving mental, physical and behavioural health
Wound care and wound care planning
Leg ulcer management
Collection of specimens
Stock maintenance
Chaperone processes and procedures
Assist with minor surgery
