Thank you for your interest in the position of Practice Operations Manager at Longroyde Surgery.
As part of our succession planning, we are looking to recruit a Practice Operations Manager to work alongside the Practice Finance Manager to carry out day-to-day activity to ensure the smooth running of the practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality care to the patient population and maintaining a happy and committed team. The current Practice Manager role has been split to provide a Finance Manager and an Operations Manager which will allow each to concentrate on their duties. The successful candidate needs to be versatile and eager to grow into the role and adapt to the changing needs of the practice.
The post holder will work closely with the GP Principal to improve standards across a wide range of clinical and administrative activity. The areas will include Administration, HR, IT and Project Management. They will need to work independently and confidently but know their limitations and know when to seek advice. The position is suitable for someone who wishes to demonstrate initiative and to develop their own skills further with a view to progression.
Organisational relationships include members of the practice team, patients, Integrated Care Board, NHS England, community services, Lower Valley Primary Care Network, Pennine GP Alliance (GP federation) local practice managers group, hospital services and members of other statutory bodies

About Longroyde Surgery
Location
We are small friendly surgery located in Rastrick, Brighouse.
The Practice
Longroyde Surgery is a purpose built single-storey surgery built in 1989.
The practice has a current list size of 4600 and continues to grow. We offer excellent patient access and the GP national surgery has shown us as the number one practice in Calderdale for the last few years.
We have consistently achieved high QOF (quality outcomes framework) and received a good CQC rating from our last inspection.
We are fully computerised using SystmOne as our clinical system.
The Doctors
We have one GP Principal and four Salaried GPs.
Staff
We have three practice nurses, a Reception Team Leader and six reception/admin staff.
The current experienced practice manager is reducing her hours and will take on the role of Practice Finance Manager so all aspects of practice finance management will be covered by her.
The practice is part of the Lower Valley Primary Care Network (PCN) and shares the associated staff with the other four practices within the PCN.
