Pontcae Medical Practice are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to fulfill a role with our busy reception team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a primary care medical receptionist (Care-Navigator) based in Merthyr Tydfil.
This role involves daily face to face and telephone contact with patients, arranging of appointments and follow up of patient related tasks. The practice is in the process of developing the role in supporting and navigating patients to the most appropriate care for their needs.
We are a busy practice with 12,500 patients and a commitment to training and developing both the clinical and non-clinical team. We operate the Vision clinical system.
This position would especially suit an applicant with previous experience in a primary care and an understanding of the expectations of care navigation.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills and computer literacy skills are essential.
