£10,000 - £11,000 per session; 7 weeks leave and 1-week CPD pro-rata

Latham House Medical Practice is a large doctors surgery and are proud to maintain GP patient lists for continutiy of care.  We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Salaried General Practitioner to provide 4 – 8 sessions per week, with the opportunity to work flexibly.

Join our semi-rural Practice and with the full support of the multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to provide high quality primary care services for a mixed demographic population of ~36,000 patients.

 

We are offering

  • £5K Golden handshake pro rata
  • Flexible working plan with up to 25% of your time remote working.
  • Competitive salary plus NHS pension and GMC fees & Defence Union fees paid.
  • 7 weeks annual leave plus study leave pro-rata.
  • 12-minute consultations
  • Duty GP capped sessions
  • Scheduled admin time for each list carrying GP each week.
  • 10 Partners, 13 Salaried GPs and a total of around 135 staff.
  • 25 Practice Nurses, 12 Health Care Assistants, 1 Physician Associates and 1 Paramedic.
  • A team of Nurse Practitioners who manage our urgent ‘on the day’ care.
  • A dedicated Mental Health Nurse, Diabetic Nurse, and Social Prescribing team.
  • We have GPs with special interests in dermatology, ENT and MSK.
  • Pharmacists who manage patient medication queries, reviews, and discharge letters.
  • Fantastic admin team providing efficient and friendly support managing non-clinical admin.
  • We regularly invest in staff training, plus we have a staff forum & fun events calendar.
  • We are a Medical Academy working closely supporting student training.
  • We work closely with our established Primary Care Network Community Services and the ICB.
  • Potential to become a Partner in future, if desired
  • We achieved a ‘Good’ CQC report in September 2018 and again in Feb 2022
